The NCAH offers opportunities for historians in all fields to meet and discuss research and exchange ideas with colleagues throughout North Carolina.
“Our membership encompasses instructors on the secondary, community college, senior college and university levels, as well as individuals outside the realm of academia,” said James Martin, the association’s secretary and treasurer, and professor of government, history and justice at Campbell University. “Of particular note is the annual meeting, an event which allows both faculty and students to present papers and disseminate knowledge that can be applied to the classroom.”
A resident of Cullowhee, Dorondo is a specialist in modern German history and has a particular interest in military history. He has been a member of the WCU faculty since 1987.
